Snookie Punched In The Face

Click here to watch the video and see snookie punched in the face!MTV reality sensation Jersey Shore (the Real Word, but with guidos), is only two episodes in, but it’s already infamous for a moment that hasn’t yet aired. Next week, you’ll see Snookie punched in the face by a man in a bar. Judging by the show’s trailer, Jersey Shore is positively built upon its cast members getting into drunken bar fights. So why do we only care about one woman’s hit to the face?The punch, which MTV previewed in a trailer for the upcoming season, has inspired both excitement and disdain from commentators. One Web site delighted over an image of Snookie getting punched over and over again, calling it “the most gratifying animated gif you will ever see”; Jezebel, which framed Snookie’s punch as an incident of violence against women, called the “the clip and commentary chilling. ”

Ouch, this really must hurt. At the end of the video Snookie is lying on the floor, crying and completely helpless. MTV knew it was courting controversy with its new reality show Jersey Shore, which stars eight of the “hottest, tannest, craziest Guidos” who live and party together for a summer, but a whole new level of criticism is sure to come when they air the epsiode in which one of the stars, Snookie, gets punched in the face by a random man at a bar. Turns out the drunken man is none other than Brad Ferro, a public school teacher at North Queens Community High School. Mr. Ferro, 24, was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct just after 2am on August 19th for punching Nicole at the Beachcomber Bar & Grill. Nicole accused Brad Ferro of stealing drinks that were meant for her and her other cast member friends, and that’s when Ferro punched her. ==> Watch the full video here!At the end of the episode tonight MTV shows a teaser clip of Snookie getting punched out and then lying on the floor of the bar. The next shot is of a man in handcuffs being escorted to a police car.
