This show is based off of real-world type style where they housemates spent their lives working and partying in Jersey Shore.The show was act is a reality television series on MTV that follows eight housemates spending their summer on the New Jersey Shore. The show was actually filmed in the summer of 2009 mostly in Seaside Heights, but was featured other places such as Toms River and Neptube. Since the show debute, a large amount of controversy over the cast’s use of the words “Guido” and “Guidette,” portays mostly stereotypical Italian-American and scrutiny from locals because the cast members are not from the actual area.
